Jo Stoller

Jo qualified 15 years ago as a Holistic Massage Therapist. She specialises in Remedial Deep Tissue work targeting key areas of the body to reduce tension and relieve pain.

Her treatments include Trigger Point theory, Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue techniques working along fascial connections, combining Eastern theories of body movement to complement Western understanding of Anatomy.

Jo’s focus is to lengthen muscle tissue that has become shortened, tightened and restricted from overuse either through physical training or general day-to-day stress. By working deeply on muscle and connective tissue to release tension and increase blood flow, this brings nutrients to the affected area and promotes healing.

She believes massage also has psychological benefits giving you a chance to relax and unwind. This helps to reduce stress, restore balance and promotes a sense of well-being. Each massage treatment session is tailored to your individual needs to ensure you get maximum benefit every time you visit.

Jo is experienced in working in a wide variety of work and sports related scenario’s covering remedial, recovery and restorative treatment. As a member of local Masters Swimming Squad she has experience treating swimmers with a wide range if issues. Jo also has connections with local cycling clubs and works with Triathletes, Ironmen and Marathon runners.

She works closely with businesses managing stress and postural issues for their employees including Innocent Drinks, Graze, Tony’s Chocolonely’s and Bow and Arrow Consultancy in Soho.

“I love my work. My goal is to look after you and provide 60 minutes of stillness and calm.”

Jo is based in the local area and when she is not busy with her three kids, she loves fresh air and water, so you’ll find her cycling along the towpath, walking in Bushy Park or playing Water polo at Hampton pool.

Jo is available on alternate Saturdays and will also be covering on occasion for our other Massage Practitioners. To book with Jo, please call us on 020 8332 6184, email us at info@theforgeclinic.com. Alternatively, you can book online.
