When not treating patients at The Forge Clinic, Alex holds a Lead MSK Podiatrist role in the NHS for London North West University Healthcare Trust. He has worked closely with Podiatric, Orthopaedic and Vascular Surgeons in acute hospital settings and in the community. Alex’s experience ranges from managing sporting injuries and patients with complex medical needs to working in diabetic multidisciplinary teams and rheumatology departments.
Alex is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of problems relating to the foot and ankle but has a special interest in sports injuries, with a particular passion for treating endurance athletes. As a triathlete himself, he enjoys working closely with runners, triathletes and athletes from all sporting backgrounds. He has experience with both amateur and elite athletes.
Volunteering annually at the London Marathon since 2018, Alex is of the few podiatrists selected to work with professionally athletes at the event. He has also volunteered at an extensive number of sporting events both in the UK and abroad. His work in Sports Medicine, together with his contributions to the podiatry profession have earned him a nomination for membership of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2020.
