Stephanie James

Originally from Brittany, France, Stephanie has been living in London for the past twenty years, where she trained as an Osteopath and now practices.

Having undertaken courses in both reflexology and sports and remedial massage, she decided to further enhance her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics by studying Osteopathy.

Stephanie specialises in Paediatric Osteopathy and has a wealth of experience treating pregnant women, new mums, babies and children. She offers cranial osteopathy and has even treated babies still in incubators. She is committed to continual professional development and regularly attends postgraduate courses to broaden her skillset and keep her existing skills up to date.

As a firm believer in truly holistic treatment, Stephanie also specialises in Visceral Osteopathy which considers the movements and quality of the internal organs to treat back, neck, shoulder and leg problems.

Using a variety of techniques (structural, cranial, visceral) she is able to relieve pain as well as offer advice on rehabilitation, recovery, relaxation and well-being. She also has an interest in office ergonomics, helping office workers recover from musculoskeletal strains due to prolonged time sitting at a computer. She is a qualified DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Assessor.

Stephanie strongly believes that an integrated approach to musculoskeletal pain is the way to ensure patients get the correct treatment and management.
